DADS and Father Figures: You are invited to join other Easley area elementary and middle school dads and kids for a program of fatherhood and family topics. You'll take away some great tips and resources to help you be the best dad or father figure you can be and strengthen your relationship with your kids at the same time.
The next event will be held on Thursday, April 3 at 7:00am at Rock Springs Baptist Church in Building B.

Congratulations to Ms. Atkins and our orchestra students. Please read the following from Ms. Atkins:
"I am so proud of our students! They did a great job at staying focused and giving their best efforts today for the Concert Performance Assessment!
They performed their two prepared pieces for a panel of three judges. (One judge gave them a superior rating. The other two judges gave them high excellent ratings.) Each judge also provided feedback and tips to help us improve.
They did a great job with their sight-reading as well. Sight-reading is when the students are presented with an original piece of music that they have never seen before. They have ten minutes to look at it, discuss it, clap it, sing it, or air-bow it. They cannot rehearse it on the instrument. After the ten minutes, they have to perform the song for a judge. It is not easy and tests all of their knowledge about reading music and musical symbols and performing a song at sight.
I am so proud of each of these students for the hard work that they put in to prepare for this event!
They earned an excellent rating and brought home another trophy for GMS! They truly demonstrated Gettys Greatness!"

Congratulations to the winners from the Easley Regional Art Exhibit and Dr. Sargent. We have some amazing artists!!
