7th grade teacher Kimberly Brummitt recently showed us that teaching is more than lessons, notes or tests when she performed the Heimlich maneuver on a student who was choking in her classroom. Her quick response saved a life! Dr. Cory and Dr. Roach recognized her with a GMS Lifesaver Award today. Way to go, Mrs. Brummitt!
