We are pleased to introduce our new head volleyball coach, Anna Bridges! Coach Bridges began her volleyball career at Gettys Middle School, then continued on at Easley High School while also playing club volleyball. She attended Southern Wesleyan where she played volleyball for the Warriors her freshman year. After graduating in 2019, Anna became the head JV coach and assistant Varsity coach for Liberty High School. During her time at LHS, she led their JV program to multiple 1st and 2nd place finishes in the region, while helping varsity garner back to back to back region championships, 2 upper state appearances, an upper state championship, and runner-up at state in 2022. Anna has also coached at 864 Elite, holding the 17U head coach and 13U assistant coach positions.

Gettys Middle School helped shape me into the player and coach I am today, and I am excited to pour that same passion into the young women at GMS. I look forward to building a strong, competitive program and helping Gettys return to a winning tradition. I am thankful for this next chapter and the opportunity to give back to a school that has given me so much.”
