Our 8th grade band students had the opportunity today to travel to Clemson University to see the CU Jazz Band perform. In addition to great behavior and hearing great music, the got to learn about options for continuing their love of music into college. Fun fact we learned: the CU jazz band is comprised of all non-music majors!
It was a great way to kick off the Gettys Jazz class which begins next semester!
