This year’s Support Employee of the Year works for GMS all around our school. He is an early arriver at GMS in the mornings. Student and staff safety are his highest priority. He works our crosswalk before and after school on Pendleton Street, ensuring that all students can safely attend school. He has spent countless hours on all of our school’s safety plans with updated procedures, resources, communication and making even the smallest of details planned and prepared. He makes sure we are all safe at school events, sport activities, dances and programs and was recently awarded the Easley Police Department’s Officer of the Year. He cares for the community and was even willing to have a pie in the face for our United Way fundraising campaign.
